Description
Our class is designed for expectant parents to explore the childbirth process and a wonderful way to prepare for the safe arrival of your new baby (or babies!). Topics of discussion will include:
Signs of labor, when to call your OB/Midwife, OB triage, stages of labor & delivery, fetal monitoring, types of deliveries, natural childbirth, pain management (including breathing techniques, IV pain medication & epidural) postpartum care, and the role of the support partner during the birth process. Class is also offered in Spanish. Price is per couple.
